Hey. It seemed to significantly improve my ball pocketing. Anyone want to comment on WHY this might be true?
Hi there,
The pause is huge on the break. It allows you so focus all your energy and coordinate your body to do what you are trying to do.
And when you pause you want to make sure you are stareing at the head ball.

You're welcome to disagree any time Nathan. I don't take your post personally and you haven't offended me.
Personally, I don't think HOW MUCH A PERSON POSTS has anything to do with how valuable of a poster they are.
I see that your priorities are not even similar to mine. I care a great deal how well somone plays.
I come to this forum not only to fraternize with my AZBilliards members but also to learn and I learn a great deal from people who play well. So since the forum is growing daily and new members are being added all of the time, most of the time they are people who are just getting started in pool and are also looking to learn.
The presence of better players stimulates interest on the pool community's part. It's great to see Tiger Woods swinging that club even if his wife swings a meaner one. (I take the good with the bad as long as there is some good.)
Some people add little pool knowledge to the forum and only use the forum to hawk their products and services. That irks me too but Gene has offered FAR MORE HELP TO members of this forum than anyone gives him credit for. I would venture to say that Gene has provided lots of quality information that has absolutely NOTHING TO DO WITH PERFECT AIM.
Good players don't always offer valuable pieces of information that pertain to pool but I am willing to accept whatever information that I glean from their posts.
I also like the fact that other people IN THIS FORUM get the benefit of the top players' experience and knowledge.
