perrifial vision

pretty sure i spelled it wrong but oh well.....well i was wondering ....something i tried yesterday, that i use when im making banks is, i see the ball, but i focus on the pocket with my perrifial vision, it works well........but then i started to do that with just normal shots, i would come down on the shot line and see the contact point, but then i would focus on the pocket with my perrifials, and it was working very well.... telll me w2ht you guys think/111!!!!!

WOW! To spell that bad means you must play pool like a champ!
Anyway, why would you need to look at the pocket when you know where it is already AND it doesnt move, well, most of the time.....

I always focus on the contact point on the ob and and see centerpocket with my preferral vision and visiualize a line traveling to the pocket. Thats me. But i dont have to see the pocket to see the contact point.

I totally agree spelling ability and poolplaying ability are inversely proportional.

On a long shot if I'm wearing a cap I always have to pull it back so the pocket is in my peripheral vision even though I'm concentrating on the object ball.The mind can do more than one thing at a time.
