Personal Playing Cue: Full Splice

I've been playing with this cue for 9 months but after Cornerstone's situation, I decided to take some photos of my cues.

Since I have the photos, I might as well share.


Honestly, this is my full splice prototype. I had built a few sneakies but never a full splice with veneers.

About my tastes:
I guess I'm a bit of a minimalist. Less is more in some cases. I love earth tones and understated cues. I love traditional designs but twisted into something original.

Specs:
Veneers: Black/Olive/Silver/White (I like the fades, *shrug*)
Forearm: Straight Grain Maple
Handle: Cocobolo
Inlays: 8 Total. 4 sets of an ivory diamond into an ebony diamond. Simple.
Joint Rings: 1/16" Thick Brass
Pin: 3/8x10 Brass
Butt Cap: 1.5" Delrin

that is sweet.

I like understated cues myself.

I'm not a wrapless guy, but I love the look of a full splice.
 
I love it! The diamonds at the base of the splice are a great touch I've not seen before. :thumbup:
 
Nice Player

Very nice cue! This is my preference in a player cue. I am looking to have a fullsplice/wrapless made in the near future.
 
Very nice cue. Simple but has enough flair to it. I really like it. Hey can you guys do an 8 point veneered full splice?

Add me to the "Less is More" list.

In this case, LESS is MUCH classier than a lot of the "More" cues I've seen.

I really like that cue.The outlined slotted diamond pulls it all together. My experience with fullsplice is they are usually to heavy for me. I like 19oz or
less, with 18 3/4 being perfect for me.
I have seen several of your cues advertised in w/f as new quite reasonable. When I go to your site they are higher. Is there a discount for AZB members? If so how do I get price an place order? Nice Cue......Thanks

Being a bit of a full splice fanatic....and an incredibly picky one at that...I have to say that you did a VERY lovely job with this cue! Kudos to you, sir!! :thumbup:

Awesome looking cue Matt! I really like the slotted Tiffany diamonds. Very unique and they fit in nicely.
 
As cool as the fullsplice is I would really like to see pics of the ebony w/ flame veneers in your avatar. Helpa brotha out...
