well.. the shafts.. are blue.. i wanted tohave them cleaned before i tried to sell it.. i wasnt going to but i changed my mind.. need some extra cash for some home improvments...

anyways.. there are a few small nicks/chips on the cue, some yellowing at the joint.. and one shaft has a ivory ferrule and one has a linen or phenolic ferrule.. and i one shaft has a roll to it.. i need to take it to the pool hall to know which shaft is which..

as soon as i get a chance, i will update all the specs and whats good and bad about it..

ok.. still looking to sell/trade this cue... all white on this cue is ivory.. joint and inlays in the rings.. rings are made from amboyna burl and match the points...

like i said before.. one shaft has an ivory ferrule.. and the other has phenolic? i believe.. this is the shaft that has the slight roll to it..

looking for $1,100 .. or trades up or down on mottey/white/scruggs..

will entertain other mid range names cuemakers.. and/or best offer..

Jay.. i will get back to you as soon as i can on the weight..and the shafts.. the cue is with my relative right now..

i had somebody else ask me about diameters so i will get them fast..

as for trades.. i would like to get a scruggs, white, or another mottey.. Up or down trade of course.. but i will entertain other offers.. just let me know what your interested in doing.. thanks.chris
 
hello..ok.. the shaft sizes are

the shaft with the ivory ferrule,
is 12.52mm and weighs 3.45oz

and the shaft with the non ivory ferrule is
12.62mm has a couple small dings in it and it weighs 3.54 oz..

i was just looking over the cue again, there is no dings in the forearm, there is 1 in the middle of the butt sleeve (more like a chip) and then there is a small dinger in the buttcap edge..

i dont have a weight on the butt because the scale i got wont go up that high.. its only really good for shafts... and i am sorry.. i dont know when it was made...

it is a 6 point cue, with recut holly points on the outside, with one reddish orange veneer with amboyna on the inside.. the rings are silver with amboyna and ivory.. and it has rings on the butt in 4 places and matching rings on the shafts and the joint is solid block ivory with a slight yellow on the very end. looks like something pete did when he was finishing it or something... and the forearm and buttsleeve are both ebony...

You don't get a much better playin' cue than these. I play with one myself and vouch for his cues.

sorry.. my amboyna mottey with the lizard will never be for sale.. unless you want to pay an obscene high price.. its too sentimental..
