BUTTSLEEVE:
All EBONY with "TONKIN" logo on buttcap.

FOREARM:
Highly grained Cocobolo with 4 HIGH Ebony points veneered of gold-blue-fuchsia-lavender.

JOINT:
3/8 x 10 Flat faced phenolic.

RING WORK:
Single nickel rings at A-B with fancy railroad rings at C-D-E

WRAP:
White w black spec irish linen.

Weight:
Butt: 15.8
Shaft: 4.0

Hardly played at all superb condition with slight ring lift at butt.
Great price for a TONKIN.....only $700

If I wasn't in the middle of moving I'd STEAL this from you at that price! Wish I had the extra $$.

Ridiculously good deal considering Pete Tonkin just won the people's choice cue award at SBE this year! I highly doubt you will ever see another one of his cues at this price or even close to it.

As far as....

"ring lift" I have had a few questions. You can SLIGHTLY feel the rings thru the finish in the butt. MANY cues have this most don't even disclose, notice or care but I don't want any disappointments. This is a FINE cue at a spectacular price!
 
Small world... I grew-up across the street from Pete Tonkin, in NorCal. I had no idea he made cues. Haven't seen him in 25 years. He has always been very talented at anything he did. It was muscle-cars when I knew him. I may need to rearrange the budget and have him build me a cue. Anyway, GL with the sale.
