Looks impressive but I'm not fully on track on how you play with it

Thanks for the link to the introduction.
Looks like a great setup. I was playing with the idea of making a horizontal
clamp board with a opening in the center.
Then the CNC could precisely run a 90´ V mill down and make the cut.
But I guess this setup would be better since you have more cutting edges
to do the job.

Nice.

Kent,

The 90 deg V cutter for a router doesn't cut very well. There are no cutting edges right at the point of the cutter. The only way to get the clean bottom is to use a bladed type cutter.

Of course, with this jig you don't use the point of the bit as you are only cutting one side of the miter.

Hi Royce,

I think you are spot on in your analysis, it was just an idea I had. Actually I can't
remember how my 90´ cutter looked like (reg. edge down to the tip or not).
I'll do some more drawings on some other ideas and see if I could come up
with something.
The attached pic was just something I came over in the hugh world of tools,
but I guess that is no good since it's 91´...

Is this jig still available from Pete? I saw in an older post from him that it was $350 and the glue fixture is $70. Anyone know if that's still accurate?
