Here is a new one I finished a while back that the guy changed his mind on.

Just a plain jane, but it's up on the block with no reserve. Set your browsers to watch it and bid!

And.... NO! the auction will not end early, regardless. I do NOT have schill bidders and will let it run it's course.

I've read lots of good things here about the JWP JBs. What's the technology in these? The description says "The cue is 18.4 ounces with one 13mm shaft. This thing hits like a brick wall. Very easy to get power out of your break with this cue and jumping is EASY."

Does it have a super-hard tip or something else that makes it well-suited for jumping and breaking? What kind of tip? Could you play with it as well as jump and break?

Thanks,
Cory <==Hoping not to get into a bidding war with 1PRoscoe.

Cory, I have had several of these now and have some in stock and more due in. Everyone that I have let break and jump with them has been very impressed with the power off the break and the ease in jumping.

You can get them with a hard leather tip or a phenolic tip (not the one piece). Either of them breaks easily and jumps easily. The hard leather tip makes control easier, though. When broken down for a jump, the cue weighs less than 11 ounces, so it is nice to handle.

Could you break and play with it....yes. I have had some customers who picked up the fancy JWP J/B with the nice butt and leather wrap, put a medium Moori with it and are using it with great success. JW will tell you it is not the ideal balance/taper, etc, but the guys who have done it are real happy with it. I am not that far from you...you ought to try one.

I hear he uses buffalo guano under the tip. Those Okies . . . . :p

I see that Joe didn't waste any time replying for you, and he did a great job. He hit the nail on the head, mostly.

The best answer is probably that I make the break jumps with breaking and jumping in mind. A little stiffer shaft, harder tip, and larger joint sometimes. Things like that. I'm sure they might make great playing cues too, if you like a stiff hit.

You can get your choice of woods if you put your money down and give me a couple months to complete it. I make them 12 at a time and they are usually all sold before they are done. The current batch in progress has 9 sold with 3 remaining available.

If you don't want to order one to your liking, then I suggest the one Joe has for sale. That is a great buy.

You most likely will, as I will own that cue. :)

If I were you, I'd just walk away... now.

Ref: "TO YOUR CORNERS! "

I realize that some may view it like I have a vested interest, but I say bids speak louder than words. Let's not wait until the last minute, because that would not be a fair bout. Go ahead and skip the name calling, too. Now let's have a good clean fight. Open your browsers and COME OUT BIDDING!

You know, Pete, it would be MUCH easier for you to just drop it in the mail with my Jensen..... After all, you are mailing something my way today anyways, right? :D

Easy, it would be, but seems you have a brother in a corner here. I have vowed publicly to have no flim flam on this auction. No early endings, no schill bidding.

Not to mention that we have this very clear intent from the challenger. I would not be one to step between 2 obviously very determined gentlemen.

In addition to that, I've seen this type of thing before. You never know when someone in the peanut gallery might throw a chair in the ring (hint... hint... ScottR) ... Oh...SORRY! (did I say that outloud?)
