PGA Player Mic'd Up/Pool Why Not?

I would love to see a heart rate monitor too.

You can then tell which players are the most nervousm

Imagine seeing Tyler's heart rate in the Mosconi.
 
Pro player, after his tee shot is walking thru the fairway and talking about the shot, he just hit or what he's thinking about as he walks.
A caddy talking to a player before shot execution and getting his players feed back.
A player that CHOSE to be mic'd to give viewers their mindset for their current situation.

Is it a certain discussion you want to hear from the player like make them do self commentary?

All of these were player-mic’d as were several throughout the 90’s. Some of the players were naturally going to speak more (e.g. Mataya, Sigel). There are many more examples on youtube for sure.

It’s why I asked for clarity on your question. Are you saying yes of course we we’ve had players with microphones and have plenty of past matches to leverage to learn to do it better? Is that what you’re asking cause that didn’t sound like you’re asking that’s why I’m asking for clarity.

They did that at least at one tournament. I was surprised how high some heart rates went. It would be interesting to see that again, too.

While we’re at it; let’s see a speed gun, floating cameras (like NFL) and better telestrators. And whatever happened to the ring girls????

Not sure the sponser was real happy they were had mics on. Rempe was not happy with the big rubber like logo in the middle of the table, thought it had screwed him on position a couple times. So mics may not always be a good thing.
 
i like players being miced up. it should be required in most all sports. as sports figures are really high paid entertainers. they make money only because of there being an audience. take away the audience and all sports go away.
and the audience is entitled to have the full experience and they can learn to speak civilly.
