Believe it or not...pharaoh68's Varney j/b

Well as I'm sure most of you already know, pharaoh68 got on the list for a used Varney j/b. Here it is....a very clean 2001 model that I upgraded to the Ivorine 4 unbreakable ferrule & brown canvas-resin tip as per his request. This cue also features a very stiff flat lam shaft, dual 3/8-10 pins and a rosewood into maple fullsplice. The cue was in excellent shape and all I had to do was remove a few small battle dents & dings. Hope you enjoy your new weapon Brian. Full review to follow. :)

Have any more?

No more used j/b's available at this moment but things change quickly. I do have two very nice, fancy hustler player's that I'll be posting for sale tomorrow. One is the match to pharaoh68's, the blanks are identical except its a Radial pin cue with a full set of Micarta ringwork. :)

I have to say, hats off to Kevin Varney. I have been the at the very top of the list of the guys on here that give him a lot of sh*t, but just based on this offer alone (to sell me a fully restored J/B at a great price DESPITE my past actions) really proves to me that he is a solid businessman.

He stands behind his product 100% and thus, I can't wait to get my hands on this cue and give it a good, thorough test drive! And I wholeheartedly promise to give this thing a fair and accurate review with no bias whatsoever.

Truth is, I look forward to getting hold of this cue because, I've had several j/b's in the past and, I became so reliant on jumping that I lost the ability to kick!! Now, I've learned to use the rails pretty well so it'd be nice to have a jump cue back in the case.

Thanks again Kevin. Review to follow.

I wouldn't even open the package Joe! :D

I'd simply stamp it "Return to Sender" and drop it back off at the post office! ;)

Great job at putting your differences aside to give an honest review. tap tap tap. rep point for you.

Well, the cue has arrived. I've got it here in my office and I may even cut out of here a few minutes early so that I can get to the poolhall and give it a test run.

I will hold ALL opinions until next week when I can write an honest and fair review of it. One day's worth of playing won't be enough. I honestly and truthfully do want to give this cue a fair shake.

I'll be away for a few days but when I return, Wednesday, I'll get back to hitting with it that night. I'll likely post my review next Friday.
