I didn't mean the links to the ebay pages that cuejunkieee has listed above. I mean when it did a properties search on the links for the pictures, it points to an exe file

What does that mean, a potential virus or hack?

I don't know how this one is set up, whether or not it justdownloads the exe file, or it automatically runs the exe file.... exe files will do whatever they are designed to do. They could be designed to capture keyboard keystrokes, capture passwords, delete important system files, or simply show pictures. You never open unknown exe files unless they are from someone you know and trust.

Not sure on these being that I am avoiding the exe's.
But a couple of weeks ago, a similar auction for cues created problems for me with my Anti-Spam software to the point that I had to reload Windows entirely to be safe.
I would stay away from these auctions.

The exe files are embedded with trojan virus.

I'm dumb enough to open the files to see if I see the jackpot :D

But only on an isolated PC that has latest virus and spyware protection that I have a backup and don't mind rebuilding the entire PC in a hurry.

Latest eBay listing with *.exe attachment defnitely have trojan virus per my PC virus program.

Think about it .. how many legit seller will list a collectible cue without showing off the pictures in the listing???????

I'd be real leary of this guy. .exe files are a real no-no these days, but asside from that, note the guy has only 1 previous transaction on E-bay. I wouldn't buy a $100.00 bill from this guy for $.50.
Just my opinion. Dave

Timmy? Misspelled words (Ferrell’s and Mori Tips) Feed back of 1. Money order or cashier check only, click onto the photos, I don't think so.

Not the kind of person I would want to deal with.

What's ironic is that this particular account has been registered in 12 - 8 - 02 and just has one transaction...
