Actually I believe the term is "bar girls"
A work friend is back in PI again for 6 weeks. He sent me these pics last time but I forgot to post.
They are his "type" he's not there for the pool.;)

In that case you would of really liked the girls manwon used to post.
He referred to them as "my girls"
It was hilarious no matter how many times he posted them

That's why you have to stick with the "bar girls" and not the "free lancers" in the street.

And no babies!
He says if someone gets a girl pregnant there they say "He no escape" haha
 
This is how I remember it being in my days in Subic Bay/Olongapo City, there were never a shortage of girls, and you did want to leave the street girls alone. The bars were busy and the music was great, every bar had a band and they sounded just like the real thing. I do remember those days in the early 70's.

From his stories it hasn't changed much.
He's there 6 wks now. Just came back in Feb. from an 8 week trip!
Been twenty some times since his DIVORCE! Lol

The first pic looks similar to a place in Makati called Cat House - which was about 2 minutes walk from my hotel when I was there. Excellent table, good ex-pat crowd, many of them there with their local girlfriends - and the girls could play.

Like all bars that I was at there, the table was a challenge table, but the house rule had an interesting twist. If you won 5 games in a row the bar bought you a free beer, but you had to give up the table and go to the bottom of the list. Nice solution to stop someone from dominating the table all night. Also, if the list got too long, they would create partners (in order of the list), which effectively cut the wait time in half. If there were no other customers, the waitresses or other staff would play you.
