Is Amy Chen the lady pro who was missing in action, so to speak, due to alleged gambling problems in her native country? I seem to recall reading something about a lady player named "Chen" who was in hiding.

If this is her, then I guess that rumor was pur media spin. The media sure can be a nightmare sometimes. They don't seem to ever get the full story right.

You are probably thinking of Jennifer Chen from Taipei

Google her + gambling and you will most likely find some news

You're right, Roy. It was Jennifer Chen. I only remembered the name "Chen."

My friend watched the matches and said all the girls played really well. he was expectig the matches to be sub-par but he said were extrememly enjoyable. anyone know any links to watch any of it?
