Here are some photos from the Jason Kirkwood vs John Schmidt match that took place last weekend at Side Pockets in Kansas City, MO. We would like to thank all of the participants and people who tuned in to watch these two go at it.
These photos were taken by Amy Ou. Amy was my partner in my first foray into the pool industry; JA ProPhotos. Unfortunately we found that people like to look at nice pictures, but there simply is not a large enough market to support what we were doing, so that enterprise fell to the wayside. Amy is currently in the process of setting up her own photography site where she will showcase her photography which includes some work in the pool world.
Here are a few of her photos with captions by yours truly.
Jason Kirkwood using the sand wedge. Notice him sporting that fine TAR shirt
Match winner John Schmidt in action.
Kirkwood riding the cheese.
TAR commentators Ken Schuman and Chad "Big Nasty" Pollman hard at work in booth.
Nasty providing another shining example of the professionalism and broadcasting excellence TAR strives to bring to the pool world. We feel that our technical skills are one of our biggest advantages.
Here are a couple shots of the photographer herself taken by me. I have a long way to go on my portrait work. Amy is rocking the ladies "Got Action" tank top. We made a few of these and they are all gone now. The funny thing is I don't think we actually sold any. Every time a pretty girl picked one up at an event it went something like this. "You like that? Go ahead you can have it. What was your name again?" LOL
It was another great event with great people. Thank you to everyone who was a part of it.
