Cue Show

Jim, very nice of you to share the pics, and to do something positive for Pool, and Cue collecting.
Enjoyed it,
Greg

Thank you Greg , I do appreciate the comments . I had 266 others look , and 2 comments , Thanks Bud . Jim

I think these regional shows are a good thing for pool.
Do you have any close-ups of the Ernie Omori cues? Are they fullsplice?

Thanks!

The third to the last picture the cue with the reddish bottom Curley maple looking recut and brownish top. What is it?

I love shows like this. Getting out and talking pool. There are not many better things to do in life.

Thanks for sharing,
Chris

I second what Greg said. Only I wish I was closer so I can meet, greet and see in person. Wonderful job and extra thanks for the pics and info. I hope it was a big success for you and the others.

Best,
Mo

i own 2 of ernie ohmori cues.
as far as i know they are all full spliced. no recuts:thumbup:
i hope my statement stands true still since the last time i spoke to him,it has been a while since i have seen Ernie.

I beleive he does them both ways . Some he showd me were full splice with vewneers and another was definately re-cut , no splite in the veneer . Great work . Jim

Cue Show

Very cool Jim!
I agree with the other guys, these grass roots cue shows are great ways to support local pool and just a fun way to spend an afternoon with fellow pool fanatics. And it's a great way to support the cue makers too of course. :D

Looks like everyone was having a good time. Congrats!

Hi I heard there was a pro shop there but I did not see it . I looked around up stairs where the 6 x 12 and other thable are , but didn't spend any time up there . Definatly not on main floor . Jim

Got an email for the event 2 days before but already had plans made.
I really wanted to go and check the local goods out, especially I'm in the market for some jp's so I wanted to inquire personally.
Hopefully there's another similar event around the corner.
Thanks for sharing pictures!

Next week end at Harveys in Auburn . Call if you need directions . # below in signature . Jim
