Not to my knowledge, but surely Nate would know better. There was a tourney in Asheboro a couple weeks ago, IIRC twas Shannon's Great Southern Billiard Tour. It was held at a sports bar with a limited # of BB's. When I asked Nate about it, he didn't offer a glowing report for the venue. So, if there was a "real" pool hall that recently opened there, you'd speculate Shannon would have chose it instead.

There's a new nice hall that opened just north of Charlotte, in Cornelious next to Lake Norman. Maybe that's the hall you heard about?

Advantage to Charlotte is Southwest flies there!! That's a big plus for traveling anywhere.

Looks like my link to the area (Stepson) is going to be moving out here (Tucson) before long. After that, I can't see many Greenboro trips im my future. :(

I hope you make another trip before that happens you 3 fouling sunnofagun. But I hope you've been playing some, 'cause Rick Sonner and I have grown another ball! :eek: He's got me finally playing 1 hole, and that has helped my rotation games.
