Pin in the shaft question....

Hey guys, which cue makers past or present make cues with the pin in the shaft and not in the butt....thanks

Anyone ever seen this combo of bumper and pin in shaft?
 
Dufferin started out with the pin in the shaft but for the last 15 or so years of their existance it was the other way around.
 
Spain is a big one...already noted though....


I think I read somewhere that early Martin cues had the pin in the shaft.


Also, there is already a thread about this topic but I couldn't find it. Maybe somebody else can find it?

Most cues had the pin in the shaft at one time. But over a few decades the majority of American cuemakers switched to the pin in the butt. John Robinson and Burton Spain both refused to switch no matter what the market wanted.
