cueman AzB Silver Member Silver Member Feb 28, 2013 #8 Most cues had the pin in the shaft at one time. But over a few decades the majority of American cuemakers switched to the pin in the butt. John Robinson and Burton Spain both refused to switch no matter what the market wanted.
