Play some?

My friends are telling me its time to go on the road. I'm playing jamup pool and beating all of them, even giving them the 7-out in races to 9 or 11. Still beating them easy too.

Any action in MD/DC/VA area?

There's this guy - Grady Seasons. He's making the most on paper. But that doesn't mean anything. The money's in the practice room. That's where you get good games. You can get wiped out at the tournament... hang around the practice room... and make more money than the guy that wins the tournament.

Georgia

Most of the people in Georgia play 10 ball. I'm more of a 9 ball player. Not saying that I don't except to lose a game here and there. I'm just saying that I'm looking for more of a challenge. Maybe I swing through for some practice if I go to Florida.

Thanks for the offer!

I can guarantee you even 9 ball action...and not from a Pro player.

Come to Toronto Ontario. I will play ya for TEN BUCKS!!!!. We play on tables made of ICE though so it might be difficult for you to adjust. :)

Hell come on down to Richmond Va. Go to two pool halls. Side Pocket and Diamonds Billiards...if you go to side pocket.. just ask for table number one and start shooting balls in ...someone will ask you to play.haha...or i could let em know your coming. As for Diamonds...the house pro ...or some one there will shoot ya..if not a phone call will be made to get you a player....they dont mind betting it up at side pocket. if you come to Richmond let me know..id like to watch ya play..hell the tiger tour is hosted at Diamonds this weekend..just show up..Ill be there...cant miss me ..big black guy, with a big smile on his face :)

Might want to stop in GA first we have a large group of top pro players down here. If your feeling spunky though come one down and enjoy the some sun and ahh fun.

BTW who are you giving the 7 and beating easily?

good plan for you:

come to florida in mid june and schedule it so you show at Diamond Billiards in Cape Coral around june 15th. 8k added seminole event that will have LOTS of great players but more importantly, that room is pumped up with action right now. Word coming to the east coast of florida is that they are gambling high there regularly. One of the local shortstops from Ft Lauderdale has played there and in West Palm beach alot in the last 30 days and supposedly he has made a very good score in April/May. Hollywood billards is the place to go in South East Florida as well as Victory Billiards in West Palm. To complete your circuit you could go north to Tampa and get played at places like Strokers or Hammerheads, but most of those players will be in Cape Coral in two weeks. GL and be smart about protecting your bankroll.

Ha

Grady Season= Keith M. (i saw that movie!)

I've been to Richmond VA before. Played pool in an area called Shocko Bottom...anyhow, it was brick streets and ghetto. No Thanks.

I don't want to play a pro player because I don't want to show to much speed until I get to know the area. Also, I don't consider myself a world beater even though some people do.

Do you play push out in Georgia? I only play push out 9 ball. so if we are going to someday match up, I want you to know ahead of time that I play push out.

Thanks for that tidbit. Good advice! I really want to see how well I do in the Northeast first. I believe it jumping in head first, and as you already know, there are some great shooters north of the mason dixon! ;)

if you are looking for a MD/VA/DC area player, you will find them in two places this weekend: the Tiger Planet Pool event in Richmond at Diamond Billiards OR PA State 9-Ball Championship at Lucky Break Billiards in Indiana, PA. i am sure you will find someone to play with..........

Do you know if the Richmond location is in an area called/ known to locals as Shocko Bottom? If so, that is not a good area.

I know I can find some folks w/ gamble on the Tiger tour though.

Thx!

I have no idea about Richmond - the room is on the Midlothian Turnpike or something like that - technically, Midlothian Virginia I think. I would imagine that someone at one of those locations would be glad to meet up with you. better yet, sign up for the open on Saturday and see where you fall.

Don't forget to dye your hair blonde and grow a beard (or shave if you have one). I find it's best to be anonymous on the road. You will also need a bankroll of at least $1000.00. That's $800 for gas and $200 to gamble.
