Engaging somebody in a battle of wits is not name calling. I noticed Scott Lee didnt resort to name calling like Bob and Neil. Only the truth will set you free.

You have made a bad start with dogging out a good teacher and a fine overall gentleman who gives a lot to the sport in teaching and donating his time such as recently with the Boys Club mentioned in an earlier thread. And I expect he can play a little bit as well as others have have indicated (100 ball + runner in straight pool) and I know firsthand he can teach. As is proper he is not going to acknowledge you (11 post newby) disrespecting him.

And other posters on AZ are going to defend people they respect so maybe you should consider your tone. This forum can be a nice place but show some consideration especially in a feel good thread such as this one started by Neil talking about playing some the other night and how respected Scotts game. But.... It is a free world though so you do what you need to do Denzy,

Scott I hope to catch you again when you are traveling by, I have been working a ton lately so that might not happen until the Derby, hope you can make it this year.

I find it somewhat amusing when I hear someone say "those who can't, teach". You never hear them say "Those who can't teach, play".

It is as foolish to suggest that a good teacher can't play, as it would be to suggest that good players can't teach.

I would be more likely to think that those who can't play, try to bash those who can.

Ghost.....you gotta lotta damn nerve .....posting pics of my ex that way. I just pray she didn't give ya any of our "home movies"......lmao

I do know quite a few good players that don't have the patience to really teach...They can show you a few things but to downright work on someone elses fundamentals....forget about it..lol:grin:

Agreed. I might possibly be the first APA 7 in the history in the game to get 0s in the three main SPF categories on the first video tape of themselves shooting lol. I definitely respect the time they put into the classes and the patience needed to travel and teach this awesome game. Thanks guys.

Once again Neil has to use name calling and threats that I wont be on the board long. Talk about grade school, when somebody use to take stars way from somebody. Anytime your worried about my pool game if I can play pool, there is one way to fin out. Come to Derby and I will find you and we will gamble, I will even let you have a coach to make it a fair game.

I don't think anybody has to call you names....most of us have already assigned you one.....all are very descriptive, some delve into your ancestry, and others are on Carlins list of things you can't say on TV.
I find your reference to "schoolboy tactics" quite ironic.....since you seem intent on engaging in just such behavior in the majority of your posts!

It's sad to see that many here fail to recognize your genius. Congrats on having so much bad rep. in so few posts. Not many could pull it off.

No I not joking, either.

It goes to show you then even when an anonymous poster can go way over the top being obnoxious, people still fall victim to feeling abused, like it really means something.

Most everyone here can recognize a post from an idiot when they see it - No need to point it out.

Best response is none at all - Don't feed their weird taste in masochism. They'll soon go elsewhere to feed their kink.:grin::grin:

Your right of course..."better to be thought a fool......than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt"

Some of those SPF instructors can be pretty harsh, can't they? LOL

What did those zeros turn into after you final video??? And was it worth it???

Directed towards Neil. I am going to quote the honorable Senator John McCain. When you get down in the mud with a pig you know your going to get dirty and he likes it, I am not going to go there.

Matt...Truth be told you're NOT the first APA 7 (or even semi-pro player) to get three 0's on your first report card. The real key is that by now, those scores should be in the 8-10 catagory. You HAVE the tools... Looking forward to seeing you, Tony and John again!

Hello Denzy and welcome to the forum. Glad to see you got off to a good start!

As you suggest there is nothing to be gained by getting into a public fight with Neil. Instead, why not try clicking on his name using the 'find all posts by ..' option. I know I will not be alone when I say that you can find a rare treasure trove of hugely valuable pool knowledge and opinions there.

And please don't diss pigs.

If I recall by the third day it went from 0, 0, 0, to 7, 7, 5 respectively. A month later after doing a follow up video I feel it improved even more. It is really difficult for one to change after doing 10+ years of the same thing over and over because the mind is trained that this is right. The biggest challenge now is not only continually improving on what I have learned/changed, but to implement this in the playing field on a consistent basis. It would not be fun if it was too easy, so I enjoy the struggles as well even though it may be stressful...as I know I have the tools to get better and have goals to shoot for.
