You're telling me Gabe has accepted every match that's ever been thrown his way huh? No need to respond cause I already know. How can you possibly ask anybody about Denzy when you have no idea who he is? I saw Gabe decline the offer to play some after he'd been beaten by Denzy in a tournament. I didn't have to call around and ask people.....I saw it.

Tell you what boys go to the DCC and find D.H. AKA Denzy, I'm sure he won't be that hard to find. You'll then discover what his real name is and we'll see how long you stay in the box with him.

Until then fellas save your money and get to the DCC. It's not that far off and soon enough you'll have all your questions answered and we'll see who's talking shit.

The Super Billiards Expo is great, I agree, as an amatuer player.

However, i do find it a little ridiculous that it still pays $5,000 to the winner even though the number of players have doubled over the last 10 years...lol.

The Windy City Open was roasted over this a few years ago but nobody says anything about the Expo.

Again, I am an amateur (true amateur), so I could care less; however, Allen Hopkins is not running the Expo for pool, he is running it to make money.

well the only D.H. i know is danny harriman....if it is danny I still don't care...especially if its him posting under some pseudo name.....just think this is is some kids sh*t. I wont be at the derby b/c I work offshore that week, but if your boy Denzy or DH whomever it may be I stand that I will play hiss ass. Win or lose....your both still NITS for playing some internet kid game of 20 questions. Hey the derby is only the week after, so why not come and get some stake money from me. I'm calling it out, if you and he whos name you shall not speak dont show then thats on yall, you got your chance.

I'm not defending Denzy's remarks with regard to Allen Hopkins but there must be a reason for his bitterness. However Scott, you should know by now that pool players in general are not the upper crust of society as evident by reading some of the posts on this forum. Much of what they say is misguided and have no idea what they're talking about.

JDB...I don't know for a fact how the open tournaments are run, nor what they pay. However, they continue to attract large numbers of entries (I think over 1000 last year), so people must like it. Of course Allen makes money off the SBE. I would believe it is his entire year's income, all earned in 4 days...although it takes a year of planning, and a crew of at least dozens of hardworking people to pull it off. Just pulling off something like the SBE is not easy, as others will attest to, who have tried to copy it in other parts of the country.

Nope I make too much money to take a week off just to go shoot pool, which is why i said I would be at the T town classic. And I aint water logged brother, i stay high and dry and make that loot. Aint got time to go have a pissing contest and lost a week worths of work over some guys being jack asses on this forum. I make real money, not something pool players are accustomed to...you know here today busted tomorrow. Show me the money list and I'll show you only 5 that make more than me....so screw the derby, take it or leave it but I'm going to tulsa and thats it....you want it come get it...im always here....but no way in hell I'm going to lose thousands of dollars worth of work just to go to the derby...i got shit to do and you people got cars to drive....so its Magoos or nothing if not then oh fuggin well.

Might as well have a foot race lmao....
