Yes Steve, I am getting up there. I grew up in the Shaggin Wagon era.

Orange or Lime Green, or both.

One guy at the lake owned an old Surfer's Woody wagon. Or at least it had the wood trim down the sides. I loved that thing.
I think the Woody Wagons were made pretty much of wood due to lack of metal during the war years.

I have an older Meucci (red dot shaft) and for me its the best cue I ever played with. Feel is different for everyone. What I like about it is I get the most english with the least effort of any cue I have ever played with. Not having to power a shot decreases room for error. Guess some love or hate Meucci. My guess if you don't like Meucci its because they aren't considered high end and you never hit with one.
