I live in Roanoke Virginia and would like to find some new players to hit some balls around with. I have played apa for a few years and looking to play with some new people. I say play I mean play, no gambling for me. I play for the most part at guys and dolls or at break time and at corned beef.
 
Aloha, Do you happen to know David Weisman, my brother in law? I was just there about a month ago and played at corn beef. Too bad we didn't meet, I would've loved to shoot with you.

I have a house near Roanoke and lived there for the last couple of years. I don't believe there are too many posters on this forum that are from there. Guys and dolls has plenty of old-timers there during the day to play with. If you like bar table pool, then you can go to Salem and play at Charbel's.
 
i have played some at Charbel's. Charlie the owner of the place is a great guy, and the food there is good and cheap. From what I have heard they are getting all new 7’ diamond table. They have ordered them and waiting on them to come in. and as far as guys and dolls go’s all the old times in there love their one pocket. That is all I see them play, and they just don’t play. All of the ones that I have seen in there love to gamble. When you go in there at night it’s not the best place in town to hang out in. I like the new place in town break time. They have around 8 bar boxes and 3 gold crown tables. All of which are taken very good care of.
