Anybody have this wonderful novel?? I read it so many times the binding is falling out!!!

I had Tony sign the cover page when i saw him at Hollywood Billiards in SF.

Also had Han and Phillipino Gene sign it (both were meanitoned in the book) I almost got JD and Dan Louie from Seattle to sign it but they didnt show to the tournament.

Just finished my first reading! Great book. I'm from the East and haven't really heard of Tony. He must be a talented player. Would recomend the reading to anyone.

My copy fell to pieces. 1st time I read it I would reread chapters in order to make the book last longer. David McCumber did an excellent job.

Funny but when Tony signed it he wrote....

"Keep on hitting em and dont believe everything you read....It was a lot worse!!"

I have most of the pool story books and that is my favorite. I have read it several times. My sister bought it for me as a present not knowing I already own it. I loan that one out to friends.

Tony has opened a new pool hall in Fairfield CA. Sorry I don't have an address and the Grand Opening isn't for awhile.

Tony's collection of Antique pool tables is the main attraction. Big Time QUALITY all the way.

Also Snooker 6x12 and a 5x10 pocket billiard table.

I am sure Tony will have some of his books for sale there.

I found it to be a great book. Coming from a backwoods town and not knowing anything about that side of pool, it was an insight into a world that seemed distant and surreal. It was even better when I got to Bucktooth in action by the Splash Bar at the Riviera.

It's not a novel. There was some "poetic license" taken by the author, not Tony. I met Tony several years before the book was written and have contacted him on and off over the years. He's a good guy.

I have an extra paperback copy. Still in new condition. $10 + $3.50 shipping.

It's on one of my book shelves...(goota say this) It's almost as fun to read as Jay's book.
