I just reveived my Joe Villapondo pool KICKING video and want to watch that. My kicking game can use some improvement.

Not only playing but also running a tournament later.

Pool players enjoy holidays as much as anyone, but there are two tables to enjoy today.

I had thought about it, but after all the great food, I think my place in my recliner is confirmed for the remainder of the day. (I might get up to fix a plate of left-overs, but that's about it!)

The local pool hall is closed, and so is most everything else. Maybe I'll try and find a bar box later.

I am going to play in the tournament at The Brass Tap in Raleigh NC tonight and again tomorrow night. Single elim race to 7 tonight, same tomorrow with the race to 9. Tony & PeeWee run some of the best handicap tourneys around. Last year they almost ran out of pizza! What a wacky world, should be a lot of fun. With all the relatives in town folks can't wait to get out of the house and hang with their friends, have a cold one and play some competitive pool.

Had a very special guest show up ay the tourney last night. Johnny Archer showed up and played with the regular crowd. A truly great guy, gave everyone something to remember on Thanksgiving. We were all hoping to play against him and the lucky ones that did really had a great time. Several got shirts autographed and he was treated with respect the entire evening. He was a real gentlemen, gracious throughout the night. Not sure if he won or not because I had to leave early so I could get up for work. It really made for a special Thanksgiving for all that were lucky enough to be there. Thanks to Johnny and all his family for a terrific night!

A day late maybe (hey, my weekend just started a few hours ago :mad: ) but I just got in a set (#4) for the DriverMaker. Perhaps I'll make it down to the pool hall a bit later ... sure was hittin' well in the DM :)

I went for my practice but left prematurely because of bottom feeder,low life trash on the table next to me.I practiced some bank shots though.:mad:
