unknown cue

Great story to go along with your cue. Definitely priceles.

My Carolina Custom cue has the same weight bolt set up. 3/8x16 tapped. But I think that's a fairly standard technique for cuemakers.

Looks like a Rick Howard.
But, anyone could have made it .
Maybe a Missouri cuemaker?
Jim Buss?

It does look like a Howard, but he used a 3/8-10 pin back then I am pretty sure.

At least the one I had one from '95 and it was a grey colored 3/8-10 instead of brass 3/8-11

Did you try Kent Taylor?

Kent Taylor uses rings like that and the design is similar to some that i've seen in the past. Email: taylorcues@prodigy.net Kent is located in OKC which as you know isn't too far from Tulsa or Wichita. Good luck!

So the cue was made in 94 or 95...? This does look like a Rick Howard but it looks like the pin is brass and I think Rick used moslty stainless pins if it was a 3/8 10. I am alsmot 100% sure it is not a Madison Bob. I was going to say Mike Kinder and Dan Tull from the location but it seems those have been ruled out. Ill send some pictures to Rick and see if its one of his but the pin doesnt seem right for that time period. Are you sure its not 3/8 11

SWAG....John Guffy

That was my original thought before seeing the pictures as well Adam, but I cannot remember John ever using that pin. After seeing the pictures I know Eddie Farris used that pin a lot in those days but usually did not use that bumper and it looks like he has already been eliminated as a possibility.

Have you checked with Jim Ingram, he is in that part of the country and was making quite a few cues in the early 1990's.

The cue has a lot of similarity to my AEcue. Same pin and bumper for sure. Might be a possibility.

Possibly Prather Custom Cues,
Or Kent Taylor Custom cues"
Send pics to both of them,
They have emails/websites ;)

Also try Mike Stacey Custom cues
