A friend of mine picked up this cue the other day and was wondering if anyone here would happen to know the maker or anything about it.The butt cap is plain black with no writing on it.The work is cnc'd but not a clue to whom made it.Sorry for the pictures I'm not really sure the best way to download them.Any information at all would be great thanks!

I was told from the previous owner that it was an Edwin Reyes cue from the Phillipines. The previous owner did not like the butt of the cue so fat so they had it turned down that is why the inlays were cut off in the butt sleeve. It is to bad because it destroyed any of the value of the cue. Hope your buddy didn't pay to much for it.

THAT IS SOME GREAT INFO.......

THIS WOULD BE THE WEIRDEST REYES CUE I'VE SEEN.

I'M JUST NOT SURE IF THE GUY THAT TOLD YOU THAT WAS BEING TRUTHFUL. THE WHOLE CUE SCREAMS VIKING. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT I'M NOT SAYING YOUR WRONG, OR LOOKING TO ARGUE, JUST THAT THE CUE REALLY REALLY LOOKS TO BE A VIKING OF SOME TYPE.

I HATE TO CLICK ON LINKS....SO HERE ARE THE PICS (THE LAST ONE IS AN ADDED BONUS)

I was just saying that is what I was told. I also was offered the cue and I turned it down because of the issues with the inlay work. Also the seller could not guarantee that the cue was a Edwin Reyes but he said that Efrin played with it. Something just didn't seem right with it to me so I passed on the cue. The pin on the cue sure does make it look like it is a Viking.

AT LEAST WE CAN ALL AGREE ABOUT THIS PART. LOL

I'VE BEEN LOOKING THROUGH THE VIKING PAGES THAT I KNOW OFF LOOKING FOR DIFFERENT LTD'S AND 1 OF'S..... NOTHING YET, BUT SOMETHING IN MY BRAIN IS TELLING ME THAT I'VE SEEN THIS DESIGN BEFORE.

Does Edwin Reyes use CNC? I thought he did all his work by hand. Is the wrap nylon? Maybe the cue is a Viking that Mr. Reyes tinkered with.

Thanks for the help with the pictures:) I'm not the best at posting them and any suggestions how to post them better would be great! Please pm me the info! And thanks for the information on the cue.My friend doesn't care so much who played with it or value he's more interested in maker, series, etc.And it's a linen wrap.He highly doubts it's a Reyes cue(99% sure). This is what he was looking for any info at all.And he knew AZ is the place to find this information:thumbup: Thanks again for all your help and anymore info you find would be great!

Figured it out!!

THAT WOULD EXPLAIN WHY I DIDN'T FIND IT WHILE I WAS LOOKING THROUGH THE LTD'S...... I KNEW IT LOOK FAMILIAR, BUT I DIDN'T REALIZE IT WAS A STANDARD LINE CUE.
