I just read this and feel horrible for you. That is a super nice cue.
I will email Jesse R. at MSB and ask that he be on the lookout for this cue as well. Jesse always seems to get people coming up to him to sell and buy stuff, so if someone were to come up to him with that cue, he will be able to recognize it. It won't hurt to have as much coverage around the valley as possible.

Now that you have posted pics of the cue, it is really incredible that someone would take a cue as distinctive looking as that. It is actually one of the nicer cues I've seen. There is no way that he could possible do anything with that cue. If he sells it, someone will notice. Like Jay said, he is probably sweating it, and is looking for an easy way out. I will keep a close eye out on-line, but I would definitely go to the pawn shops. A friend of mine got his Toro snowblower back at the fourth pawn shop he went to. I would also get those pics to all of the pool rooms, this cue would be hard to replace.

My Cue Was Returned
My cue was returned to a pool room that I was at last night. Someone came in this afternoon, said they found it outside, then left. It's someone that no one at the pool room knows. I have asked the people who were working to get the guy's name and number if they ever see him again because I'd like to give him a reward.
I find it incredibly difficult to believe that it was just "sitting in the parking lot" from 11:00pm last night to 4:00pm'ish this evening considering that the owner of the pool room looked all over for the cue, inside and outside (and where I was parked), and they couldn't find it. I couldn't sleep last night and I even went back out at 4:00am to retrace my steps because I was sick and couldn't sleep. I didn't see it in the parking lot, outside, nowhere. I suspect someone felt that they wouldn't be able to offload it and just dropped it back off. I obviously did something wrong to have ever let it leave my sight. Regardless of how it all happened, or why someone returned it, I'm just ecstatic to have it back. Thanks to all of you who offered advice, kind words, etc. In fact, thanks to all of you who just took the time to read this thread. I feel like I'm in debt to everyone ... now the question is: how the hell do I repay it? That's a lot of debt!

Thanks, bro. I wish I could describe how lucky I feel right now. What an emotional day. I went from feeling like I was hit by a truck to feeling like the luckiest guy on Earth. Offering to add some money is something that you DEFINITELY did not need to do. That's a gesture that I won't forget and I hope I have the opportunity to repay it some day (provided it doesn't come at the hands of some misfortune of yours).

thats like one in a thousand chance. i remember i got my jerry oliver stolen a few years back.. over $1500 in merchandise including my 314, break cue and jump cue... the worst part is the people who stole it probably had no idea or appreciation of the worth of the cues... probably got 50 bucks for it at a pawn shop to fuel their crack habit.
to this day, it upsets me the most to think hwo much of a waste it was.., if someone was going to steal it, i would atleast want them to use it as to this day, with as many diff cues as i've owned/used, my jerry oliver with 314 shaft was the best hitting cue i've ever used.

Congrats! Did you get it all back including the cue case and everything ? Sounds as if the heat was too much for the guy. And good that we have good people on here to look after each other

I haven't checked the contents of my pouches but, as far as I can tell, everything in there. All three cues and the case. It's amazing.
A buddy of mine who owns a room told me a story of how he was at a carwash cleaning his car,he takes out his cue case that has a Szamboti in it,vacuums his car and then leaves.He was gone for a few hours and didnt realize he forgot it and when he did he went back there,it was still sitting in the same spot.
