Please recommend a builder for this cue

Did you come to a decision?

Joss has a reputation for lively and hardhitting cues, and my Joss is much livelier and crisper than my Frey, which is why I suggested you consider the Joss. I certainly can understand why you might prefer a smaller builder given the amount of money you are spending.

Did you ever find out anything about Capone, who someone recommended? Sounds interesting, but there isn't much on him except for one thread on a snakewood cue.

Mike Capone is a cuemaker of the highest order.

President of the American Cuemakers Association too.

I'd say he knows a thing or two about turning some wood.

You could contact Black boar...

Prob get it done for about $22,000

Make sure to get the extra shafts for only $600 each.. :)

Lomax and Gilbert.....I have 2 Gilbert's and 1 Lomax........both awesome. I think Lomax is the best person in the world .........also has great woods on site.

That looks good. Wrapless cues are my favorite and the only way to go. The crosses are a very nice touch and the finish looks great. Let us know how it plays and give us a look at the shafts.

It plays GREAT. Very hard hitting cue (which I like very much). She sings when you hit a ball!

Great design. Appears to be well done. Nice to see work done in a reasonable amount of time!

I just put together an idea for a cue, and am curious as to who you would recommend the builder be.

Also, please understand this drawing was done in Microsoft Powerpoint, and is not the best, so not critics please, you get the idea of what I am going for.
6 point cue, 3 high, 3 low
3 boxes in butt sleeve
darkest wood is Rosewood, points and handle are Bocote, all rings and veneers are maple, and celtic cross inlay, buttcap and joint are white (non-ivory... preferably white phenolic, elphoryn, Juma, etc)

BD cues. Poor communication...say 1 thing ....multiple times....but do another. . Waste of time
