This is a very good book, and those that wish to read it, should find the appropriate place to buy it. Support providers of good material for the game IMO!

I'm sorry,

but you should really take this down. There are copywrite laws, and posting this is just wrong. This is a very good book, and those that wish to read it, should find the appropriate place to buy it. Support providers of good material for the game IMO!

np i.ll take it down how do i delete it

I'm sorry I don't want to rain on your enthusiasm to share a great read, but that's my feeling. Anyway, just hit the edit button if you agree, and take out the link. Maybe ad a few good words or thoughts to get more people to buy this book. I just bought my own copy a couple of weeks ago, and it is a good one to read and keep in the 'billiards' library!

Either way. Best to you!

I am with you, this is very wrong. To the posts OP just delete the link before you get in trouble.

Thanks

The sample of the book does not violate any copyright laws.
There is no need to take this down.

These are references for the bk-

Bob's bk Is think is great !! Others will tell you it is all Crap. I say call bob and ask him then if it is ok to quote from the book idea's -he clearly states came from others bks. please read these bks ,articles as well. Psychology in Sport John Kremer and Deidre Scully. How the mind works, Stephen Pinker. The Cerebral Symphony, William H Calvin. The user Illusion, Tor Norretanders. The Emotions, Nico H. Frida. Self- Efficacy, Albert Bandura. The Society of Mind. Marvin Minsky. Descartes' Error. Antonio R. Dimasio (good thing John C Trevor didn't have to worry about copy rights laws in 1947- because after taking pictures and moving the dead sea scrolls began to crumble. ) never mind they were trying to kill him besides. good thing he was only copying the bible. What ever happened to Freedom of Speech Laws- ? So sorry your post was killed, before a discussion began. mark

I received considerable benefits from reading Bob Fanchers book The Pleasures of Small Motions. It's a good read.

Normally, you would be right. In this case, you are not. The site that was linked is a book review. It shows the index, and the first three chapters of the revised edition of the book. If you scroll down on the right side of the page, you will find this at the bottom-

That means, the person who posted the site has permission for that portion of the book to be posted. Linking to that site is no problem. Copying that site to post other places would be. Robley should put the link back up.

True. Only 2 chapters were shown.......in an effort to get you to purchase the book. It even includes reviews of the book. This is done quite often and it works, got me to buy it.....

i had found this review a few months back and it made me buy the book

over the past few months i think this has caused the biggest improvement in my game once i started putting all the pieces together

Great book. I have it and read it twice. Will probably read it a 3rd time now thanks to this thread. If you like this book also check out Zen Pool by Max Eberle. Another great book on the mental aspect of the game with some physical elements thrown in.

I have to apologize to Robley if this is a gimmick by the publisher to sell the book. I didn't read the fine print, nor do I want to. I also didn't go all the way through to see how far into the book the link went, as it seemed to go into the whole book.

I'm not interested in being on either side of a divisive issue as I see how this one could become that. I commend Robley for a well intentioned share
of a good read.

it was the google preview i found a bunch of months ago that lead me to buying the whole book. just sayin'...
