It's nice to see Stan doing well against Corey (currently 8-5, Stan) and Jeff Jimenez (Mr. J here on the board) holding his own against Allen Hopkins (8-6, Jeff).

Just sayin'. :thumbup2:

Stan, victorious over Corey, 9 - 5... and Allen has just won the last two games in a row to catch up to Jeff on the hill... currently, thrill hill-hill.

Mr Atwell and Mr Louie(Glenn at 11am and Danny at 1pm) are playing tomorrow. Boy we have some great talent in the PNW. Just saying.;)

Congrats to Stan T. and especially to Jeff!!! Wow, I believe this is Jeff's first pro event. Happy for ya Mr J.!!!!!!!:)

Side Note: Speaking to talent in the PNW. Glenn Atwell and our own Linda Carter are sitting in the hot seat in the Master Scotch. They play the finals at 5pm on Tues.
Very Happy for you too Linda!!! Good Luck. I will be rootin for ya.:)

The match with Hopkins was a nail biter. At hill/hill Hopkins caught a skidder on the 10 in the side. Ouch, but them's the rolls.

Wow, what a bad roll. But to Jeffs credit, he had to get to the hill all on his own.

No doubt. I was sitting right at that table and he was always in the match with Hopkins. And that skidder that Hopkins caught can't be blamed for the whole thing, it's not like it was the only shot he missed, just memorable because it was on the ten ball of the hill/hill game. I only mentioned it because of its dramatic effect.

Just noticed that Glenn forfeited his match last night to Ronnie Alcano.

Anybody know the specifics of "why"?

Linda Carter reported cause he was late due to playing in the scotch. Appears they broke one off in him. How can he be playing on 2 tables at the same time. Tough break fo sho.

Time management is the answer

In the players meeting for the pro event, it was specifically announced if you have an amateur match during your pro match, its the players responsibility to make arrangements for the reschedule of the amateur match. I think Glenn lost track of time. I believe the scotch match started around 8pm (he had a 10 pm pro match) It was the finals, and Glenn and Linda were on the point. The team coming out of the B side won the first set, which I believe was around 10 pm. Atwell was already on the clock at that point. He needed to talk to the podium BEFORE he even started the scotch finals. Definately a tough break for sure.
Once he realized he was already down 2-0, he gave the match to Alcano.
And went back to the scotch finals.

Atwell plays at 10pm tonite in the 10 Ball event. Good Luck Glenn!!!!!!!
