Pocket Blocks

At the moment I am just curious how a few games would play on a seven foot table with four pockets. I don't have room for a table right now so I would be putting the blocks into a table at the local pool hall for testing. New rails would of course be a far better solution long term. I have seen tables with the pocket cut outs in the slate and three cushion rails but this is a little different thing. I want to keep all four corner pockets. Might locate some rail rubber and create my own blocks if I don't find any.

Depending on what games you play alot of banks become open or new because the side pocket is not in the game anymore. Alot of friends play billiards and 1 hole and we talk about removing the pockets also to see what you gain and also lose in the game such as saftys, scratches and new banks.
I think I would give a call to Glen ~Realkingcobra~ or ~kyther~ he is new on here but the 2 of them designes and build the ridgeback rails a bettter new and improved version of coin op rails i f this is what you have. The should be able to build 2 long rails to remove the side pockets.
What type or brand table do you have there is a local company here in Hayward san leandro area of the bay area they make 7' and 8' tables and billiard conversions but not side blocks. If you shoot me the measure ments of were the bolt holes are i can see if they can make a set of rails for you . Admerial pool tables they have a web site also cant think of it right now but dave is the owner.
