polish for cue prong/butt sleeve?

What polish is good for the prong/butt sleeve of a cue?
What can sine up a simulated lizard wrap?

Selling a McDermott Cue......want to shine it up.....
looking as new as possible. Cue has not been used
very much. Cue is 95% original.

plus, I can polish up the butt of cues for customers!
for free.....they may like it?

Can you shine up a linen wrap?

I'm not a cue maker but I use any good auto polish for the finished parts.

Guitar polish. I use GHS new age guitar gloss.

Neutral colored wax shoe polish for the wrap.
Edit: There are two wraps described on this cue - simulated leather and linen.
If it is simulated leather, then the shoe polish will work.
Shoe polish won't work on a linen wrap

There are two wraps described on this cue - simulated leather and linen.
If it is simulated leather, then the shoe polish will work. Just apply a very light coat with a clean cloth, let dry, then buff.
Shoe polish won't work on a linen wrap.
