i got my glove from the guy who got me into the sport and its just that real simple nylon, soft glove. I used to use it all the time like I needed it, but lately I've been forgetting it at home and playing real good without it. I keep it for nostalgia and goodluck, but with learning new ways to keep my hands smooth and dry, I don't think i need the "love glove" anymore.

Yo Black Cat! You were going to check inside the Felice glove to see what percentage of nylon and spandex is used. I know this goes back to 2006 but I still want to know.
In fact, I wish I knew who the manufacturer of Felice gloves was.

I still have a Slix glove, and think it's the best. Mine is pretty worn, and I don't think they make them anymore.

Do you know what percentage of spandex/nylon it contained? Sometimes there is a label inside of the glove that shows the percentage.

I've switched back to glove after years of constantly cleaning my shaft and using powder. Forget that now -- I'll just use the glove.
I need to find a good one that has exposed fingers though.

There have been a few additions to the pocket billiard/snooker glove world in the past 10 years. Kamui and a couple of others.
I've tested most of them and don't like to knock anyone's product as most products have some merit for some people.
Molinari gloves seem to be popular with a number of people.
I would love to know EXACTLY what the Molinari gloves are made of AND WHAT percentages.
I still believe the index finger and the thumb should be covered for pool players who use a closed bridge. I don't see many gloves that expose the middle finger (don't laugh) but cover the index and thumb.
Nylon seems to be the worst material to use for a glove but apparently it is used WITH Spandex in varying percentages to make a "good" glove.
I still don't understand LYCRA and how it is different from Spandex as far as pool gloves are concerned.

I don't think Molinari gloves were available at the time.

I shoot approx. 15+ hrs a week, and I've had this now for over a year, with very little signs of wear. It's a little thicker than the gloves, but you can feel your palm on the table, and it slides great.
I was constantly going thru gloves, either they wore out, or the seams would separate.

I was curious also and looked it up. They appear to be the same product where spandex is the generic term and Lycra is a trademarked term by DuPont.
And for anyone else that is curious, my Longoni glove is 80% poliestere and 20% elastam. (Italian label) I'm guessing this means 80% polyester and 20% spandex. Great glove.

Try the Molinari glove, it has a palm-pad and breathable material that allows you not to sweat. Very comfortable. The fingertips are cut out so you can feel the cloth on the table. Highly recommended

I wonder if anyone has compared the Molinari Glove v2 to the original Molinari Glove. The v2 has "enhanced stitching to increase durability" and a "non-slip palm grip". Sometimes enhanced stitching can mean slight discomfort........
