Pool Ball Collecting.

On another note I received these snooker balls today and Just cleaned them up with not much effort. I was stunned that they were in unused condition, besides the box top. They were a bit dull and the cue ball had a bit of chalk on it but they cleaned up fabulously. I don't know much about the English balls so I was hoping that a couple of you folks from across the pond could give me some info if you would.

We played with these last week and liked the way they played. They seemed to roll out better and took the pocket well. Not sure if that's the difference being 2-1/16" compared to the 2-1/8" Aramith Premier's we normally play with.
 
I’m not very well informed where the clay era is concerned but understand that the Brunswick Empire set shown below is something rather special.

These balls were acquired recently by a friend, who has given me permission to share a few images.
