Pool Characteristics away from the table

Anyone unconsciously do something away from the table that makes you think, "Man, I play WAY too much pool"?

I hold my cue with my right ring finger, with the rest of my fingers hanging limp. Sometimes I will be walking, naturally swinging my arms, and I find that my hand has curled into my stroking hand configuration. And after all the practice on fundamentals, I find this to be my natural relaxed position for that hand when walking. Wierd.

I don't do this other example, but I'm sure some do. Anyone ever unconsciously form a bridge away from the table with their bridge hand?

Come on, let's here some things you do away from the table.

I hold every bottle, cup, and mug of liquid with an open hand bridge, of sorts.

When I throw the ball for my dog in the back yard, I can go 2 rails off the fence, and bank it into the trash can!!:D

when i sign any paper work, i hold it in place with my bridge hand...the exact way i would if i were making an open bridge on the table :)

I was told that I shoot pool in my sleep. A friend of mine said that she saw my right arm jerk from time to time as though I were shooting a shot in pool.

If something unlucky happens to me in any aspect of my life, I refer to it as a bad roll.

I was just noticing today that I push to open the bathroom door here at work with my left hand in open bridge position.

Also playing horse on the little nerf basketball hoop we have at my office, I noticed that after having pool lessons to get my lower arm stroking "in plane" with the shot, all the sudden I started shooting the nerf ball with my arm in plane. Helped my accuracy a lot!

Sometimes I find myself holding my cigarette in my left (bridge) hand with my closed bridge (Filipino-esque, with the thumb and forefinger on the middle finger).

We all need serious help.

I will only hold a drink in my hand with the opposite of my bridge hand, so that the drink's condensation will not get onto my bridge.

Even if a pool table is nowhere in sight.

I install septic systems for a living. The D-Box is a concreate rectangle that has knock-out holes where you slide your pipe in. I knock everyone of them out with a shovel. I hold it backwards and stroke it like a pool cue to deliver the blow with the handle.:D

Whenever I wash my hands, I often catch myself putting extra soap on my bridge hand between my thumb and index finger.

When I wash my hands in the bathroom away from the pool hall, I catch myself paying extra attention to getting my bridge fingers dry.
