Pool Hall Photos From All Over.

This is one of my favorite pool room pictures. It is of Golden Cue in Albany, New York. The tournament has ended, and it's time to go home. The winner, clutching his trophy, is peering inside one last time, contemplating whether he should stay or not, as he watches another player counting his cabbage. To leave or not to leave, that's the question!:grin-square:
JAM, is that Kid Delicious in the window?

About 15 years ago I came upon this old Duluth, MN pool hall photo, I pasted our pool team photos onto the original players body's, made an interesting photo, gave all the players a copy. From left to right, Dave Burger, Art Engstrom, Mark Berger, Stan Sunde, Peter Van Dyken. Dave and Art have since passed.

I finally had a chance to make it out to the SPOT. I was very happy with this room - tables, lightening, spacing between tables were all perfectly set up. I am looking forward to going back.

I got so many pics...

it's been a while since I posted in this thread... in fact I can't remember if I ever did. Anyway I got into photography so here are some pool room pics.

The action room at Q-Masters. Shot by stitching together several shots from a dslr with a sharp 50mm lens. The original is huge, but I'm only posting this small preview and a medium sized version available here: http://i.imgur.com/oO3EAqy.jpg

Upper floor, Breakers Sky Lounge. The place is really nice... this is a smoking area
and I sort of played up the haze a bit. It's not that bad usually. Downstairs is nonsmoking.

Also breakers. You can see the equipment is top notch. My buddy left me this break shot in straight pool practice, and I nailed it.

Revolution/Fast Eddies in Centerville, VA. The place used to be really nice, known as the Shark Club and featuring an actual shark tank. All the tables were upstairs with funky semi-circular couches near each table. Atmosphere was great. Then they got rid of half the tables, move the rest downstairs into a basement, and put a stage upstairs. Then a mechanical bull. Then one of those giant Jenga sets. Currently they do line dancing on certain nights. The downstairs was never as nice, though the new management did fix a lot of issues with equipment quality.

Schemengee's in Maine. I'm not saying you're always gonna see a scene like this when you shoot in Maine. But it's not exactly rare either. The room is quite nice even though I'm kind of being a dick to these two random strangers in the photo. They've renovated, and the cloth in the back is the fastest stuff I've ever seen. Like, faster than Simonis 760.

Spot Shots in Portland, Maine. Also called The Station and maybe something else, but it's always gonna be Spot Shots to me. They've redone the whole place multiple times, in demand to changing demographics (trying to add a restaurant, stage, dart area) and as a result of flooding. The last time I went it was all really new, carpeted smelled good, and generally a great place. They'd scrapped the obnoxious live music and failed restaurant, and apparently they even put back all the tables they'd removed from half the room, years ago.

Old school scoring beads at Fast Eddies (aka Revolutions) Fairfax, VA.

Eddies Fairfax is probably my most frequently visited room, they've got lots of tables, pretty good level tables, new-ish ball sets, and good people on staff. League nights are BOOMING. (note: the below is just a preview. But if you want to see what it looks like in insane levels of detail, try clicking one of the large size versions on this page... the biggest is over 200 megapixels and may crash your browser - https://www.flickr.com/photos/126504417@N07/31478958633/sizes/l

Then I will add mine of Springfield. Creedo's pic is from the back left of me.

I musta made him so mad by ending up a couple games winner, he went to DCC and whooped up on all, except 2.;)
