Brian Boru's in Lake Worth Florida. This place is currently running a great little weekly tournament. Friday night and Saturday nights they do $10 entry, house matches pot up to $150. Open tables, no quarters and its handicapped 8/9ball. Its too far for me to go there but if you live in the area that tournament is the nuts for the amateur level player.

Leg's Inn - Poland

Stumbled across this one today. I thought it was neat enough to add.

Anybody have pictures of Cherko's Billiards.

I remember the one on Thompson St in Rotterdam NY had a huge portrait of Frank Taberski. This would be nice to see again.

It was like a pool museum and the house man Pat Colozze had all the stories !

He was the nicest guy you could meet.

What is a little scary about this place is I don't see any women, African Americans, Latinos, or Asian-Pacific Islanders. I do see Schlitz beer, which I don't think they sell anymore, do they?

Yes, and if you look at the front window, they spelled Pool Hall backwards too.

Here are pics of a hall In SF. Used to be a theater from what I've read.

It would be a treat to play in some of the places shown here. Definitely worthy of a coffee table book as previously mentioned. I remember traveling with my Dad and sister to different countries and states over summer vacations. We often stayed in youth hostels, and every one we went to I always looked for a pool table first! They weren't pool halls exactly, but there was pool, and that's what mattered.

Booches, in Columbia, Missouri. Estabished in 1884.

Great cheeseburgers. Booches' motto: "No sniveling."

Played a lotta snooker here when I was in college.

Here are some old pics of the Jointed Cue in Sacramento, CA. They aren't mine, but they're pretty cool.
