Pool in music

Does anyone know of any good songs about pool or that use pool as a metaphor? Or any songs that even mention pool briefly? I can only think of one, but I'll name it later if no one else does.

Post up the title and artist if you know of any good pool songs. If you can post up the lyrics, even better! :)

(If this thread's been done before, I apologize. I searched, but couldn't find one.)

"You Don't Mess Around With Jim" is all about pool too.

werewolves of london - warren zevon

not really pool themed but this song always reminds me of pool!

Let not forget "The Baron" by Johnny Cash. Theme song from the movie "The Baron and The Kid"

These songs aren't about pool but they can relate to it.

"Stroke" -Billy Squire---the first lyrics go "everybody have you heard, if your in the game, then strokes the word"

"Sledgehammer"-Peter Gabriel---not about pool at all but maybe can pump you up for your break

"The Baron"--Johnny Cash--Mentioned earlier

"One More Night"-Phil Collins
"Werewolves of London"-Warren Zevon
both from the Color of Money

'Here For the Party' -Gretchen Wilson

opening line:
"well, Im an eight ball shooting double fisted drinking son of a gun"

The george thorogood "bad to the bone" music video featured an 8-ball game and at the end of the game the 8 ball hangs in the pocket after the guy shoots it then he flicks the ash off his cigar and when the ash hits the floor the 8 ball drops.

"Late In The Evening" by Paul Simon.Although it doesnt mention pool, whenever I hear Wearwolves of London" I always think about pool.

Southpaw

"I Can't Dance" by Phil Collins

"It's in the Way that You Use It" by Eric Clapton

"we got trouble right here in river city. that starts with T and that rimes with P and that stands for pool." the music man.
M.C.

ps. it's not about the ipt.

In the song "Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys" by Willie Nelson there's a lyric that says "cowboys like smokey ol' poolrooms and clear mountain mornings". The song isn't about pool but describes poolplayers pretty good when it says "they never stay home and they're always alone, even with someone they love."

This guy came up with the idea of making up some strange new type of music called "mohop" that revolved around pool. Jennie and Lala are his two singers.

High on club vibe was the only song that I heard pool mentioned it. Granted, it's just a free clip and not the whole song.

They aren't my cup of tea but someone out there might like them...

George Clinton - Martial Law.

If you haven't already, check this out: http://www.bankingwiththebeard.com/

The music starts up when you visit Freddy's page.

"An 8 ball on the rail that I'm gonna spank, and I need to be bankin' with the Beard, always bankin' with the Beard..."

"Line up your shot, shift into gear, you'll burn your fingers if you stand too near... Rack 'em up again, cuz I'm somethin' to be feared...Can't lose if I bank with the Beard..."

etc...

If Freddy were to make the music available commercially, it's the kind of music that you could play on an iPod and put yourself into the zone... Very positive, rhythmic stuff...
