Pool instruction in DFW area

Does anyone know of excellent pool instruction in the DFW area. I know theres the Pool School in Richardson, but Im looking for hourly rated sessions.

I'm pretty sure you can get hourly rates from any of the instructors at Cue Tech, including AzB posters Randyg (Randy Gottlicher), or Caedos (Carl Oswald); or their fellow instructors, Leslie Rogers or Jerry Powers. All are superior instructors in your area, so don't expect lessons on the cheap. You can PM Randyg or Caedos right here. Their pool school is still the better option, imo.

I would suggest a full Cue Tech instruction session. Worth every penny.

It's in Hurst at the intersection of Harwood and Norwood.

I've played Chris' tournament four times now (I think) and he's a heck of a player. It's a good tournament and you should attend if you can!

I would try and contact Chen. Dont know if he is still giving lessons or not, but I worked with him a couple of times. He's great, and only thirty bucks and hour. Only set back is, he doesnt speak much english. There are several people who can interperet for him or you can just watch and let him show you. Best place to find him would be clicks on marsh.

Each instructor has their own specialties. Just what are you searching for? That will narrow down your choices.

It's my personal opinion that a student needs to spend time with an Instructor in about 3 hour blocks. An hour or two is usually a waste of each others time......SPF=randyg

I live just north of Atlanta, and made the trip to Richardson to get a lesson from Carl Osborn (an instructor at Randy G's school). (Because of work issues, I never can seem to get the time to take Randy's regular class.) Carl solved some of my issues while I visited, and gave me drills and homework. I did about 75% of what he recommended, and it changed my game. I'm a believer and plan on taking Randy G's Expert Course soon. I'm not sure if it was Carl or Cue Tech's system, but I'm 100% happy (and I'm usually a tough customer.)

Without even seeing the other responses I know Randy Goetichler (sp?) is mentioned. There can be no question where to go in DFW area. Even if you don't want to go to a pool school because it costs too much or something, save up that money you would have spent on individual lessons and go to Randy's school. Maybe he does hourly instruction in his home area I don't know.
