Pool is not dead - Facebook Group disappeared?

Has the "Pool is not dead" Facebook group disappeared, or have I been silently booted/banned perhaps? I can't find it any more?

A two second google search of "facebook pool is not dead" brings it up as the first result.

Cheers, I clicked the link and got...

"This content isn't available at the moment
When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people or changed who can see it, or it's been deleted."

:(

I get the page that tells about the group and lets me click "Join Group" if I want to join it, and that would be showing the group page if I was already a member. My best guess is they have blocked your access to the group.

Well that REALLY sucks... I've been a member of that group for over 15 years... Would it really hurt to send me a note letting me know what I was suddenly doing wrong maybe?

Jude Rosenstock from here on the AzBilliards forums is one of the admins of that group. Perhaps he would be able to tell you if you sent him a direct message, or correct it if it was somehow an error.

FB mentioned to me recently they were discontinuing Forum Groups. I did notice it at first, but then seemed to stop? Humm

I'm a member, but I just looked at the recent posts and don't recall seeing any of them in my standard feed from FleeceBunk. I guess the algorithm has decided I'm not interested in it any more. And judging by the last 10 posts or so, they're right.

No reply from Jude yet... Are there any other admins of the group?

I'd really rather not be excluded from what is one of the largest billiard groups on FB.

A friend of mine joined the FB group "open billiard market" or something like that. He invited me to join so I did.
A year later I went on there to look for something and found I had been banned.
I had not bought or sold anything. No comments, nothing.
When I inquired as to why I had been banned I was told they were too busy to look into it and were not planning to take the time to check it out.
F them. It's too easy to treat people like crap on the internet.
I hope you get a better resolution than I did.

sounds like a typical response youd get from one of their mods

I was banned forever years ago without a notice after I made a joke about dog doodoo on a shoe during a tournament allowing players to jump on the table, Skinny Bob’s tournament? After that pool is not dead was dead for me. Never regretted my joke, maybe the algorithm knows that? 🤔
