POOL on TV Alert: ESPN2 this Sunday April 13th

OB Cues are the official cues of the 2013 World Cup of Trick Shots event which airs for the first time this Sunday, April 13th in HD on ESPN2 at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm EST. Each of these time slots will have a different and original show that has not been broadcast on TV yet. So make sure you watch or record all 3! (This event was filmed at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA on December 6th 2013)

The event features Team USA against Team Europe. Team USA consists of Andy Segal-The Magic Man, Bruce Barthelette-The Big Guy, Steve Markle-Triple 'C' and Jamey Gray-Sharp Shooter. Team Europe consists of Florian Kohler-Venom, Nick Nikolaidis-Quick Nick, Luke Szywala-Cool Hand Luke and Gabi Visoiu-Mr. Perfect.

Please support pool and OB by watching this event. If you already have plans on Sunday and can't watch at that time then please set your DVR's and record the pool so you can watch it later. We will continue to sponsor and support pool on TV for as long as we continue to receive the support of you, the fans who watch it!

We would like to also ask you to help spread the word, so if you have a Facebook account then please post about this event on your wall and encourage all of your friends on Facebook to watch or record this pool event which will be very entertaining. The trick shot events make for great TV and are always a fan favorite.

I'll watch it to support pool (and OB, although they've already gotten most of my 2012-2013 pool budget :grin:) even though I'm not a trick shot fan.
 
I'll make sure a tv is tuned in but kind of brutal we're going against Masters Sunday.
At least its early Sunday :o

Screw the Masters ... No Tiger, me no watch. (just kidding)

I'm an old Top Fuel Dragster Pilot and will be watching NHRA
that day and switching to The Masters during Commercials.
Gotta Love John Force !

Now .... If it were 14.1 or One Pocket, I would be glued to the tube.
 
Ugh! Ok - I'm happy pool of some sort is on TV, but I don't have any understanding to the allure of trick shot pool. It does nothing for me. Am I alone?

I agree lol why can't we just put regular men's pool on tv anymore?
 
Trick shot is not pool. Thread title should be changed so as not to cause misleading excitement.
 
I absolutely agree. It's not pool. It's self-aggrandizing nonsense to me and really horrible TV. Personally, it eludes me how anyone can watch a so-called champion miss the same set-up shot 3 times in a row. I really think this type of programming only serves to degrade what the game is REALLY all about. Just one man's opinion.
 
We're having a tournament at our club that afternoon, i'll put it on one of the TVs
