Pool returns to ESPN….

What boomer put this together? They have links to Facebook, Twitter, Insta, and YouTube at the bottom of their website. Are they links to their accounts on each of those platforms? No. They’re links to the homepages of each of those platforms. 😂

It has nothing to do with being a boomer. They are using a template or theme for the design. Any sort of theme/template comes with a section for social media sites. This is where the webmaster goes in & edits them to the official pages the site owner has.

Well, the player selection is odd to me. One current pro player active on the professional tournament trail, two Hall of Famers, and a popular lady pro. And I'd venture to guess all four of them are getting paid, win or lose. We can sit back and watch the show. For pool fans, it may be fun, but I don't see it moving the pool-as-a-sport needle in any direction.

I know. That part was a joke because it obviously shows that the person putting it together isn’t great with technology, lacks an attention for detail, and doesn’t understand social media.

I thought this was a joke at first but apparently not. I don’t see how the game will be a challenge for Fedor unless I’m missing something in the
rules.
I'm still not sure it's not a joke. Look at the cue they're using in the promotional picture lol

This seems like a terrible idea, haha.

Weird game, weird balls, poor production/marketing.

I don't think the way to get people to want to watch pool is to show them a new game they have no familiarity with using balls they've never seen and will never find at their local bar or pool establishment.

People will watch things like darts, bowling, and cornhole because people actually play those games. Not seriously in most cases but they play them as social activities and so they have some familiarity with it and that makes it approachable.

I especially think the weird ball set that people will never find or have a chance to use makes this a terrible idea.

Haven't people learned that having new versions of cue sports has never worked? People want their 8 ball and 9 ball.
I watched the video, rules are convoluted, points scoring, different pockets for different sides. Clearly, they did not heed the lessons of Bonus Ball. Whoever is watching it can't just go "hey I feel like playing down at the local pub now" like you can when watching normal pool. It reminds me a bit of this
Is this professional or semi-pro Jiskefet? I find this match breathtakingly scintillating, do you happen to have more links to these Jiskefet contests?? The epic display of skills at hand rival anything I have yet to see.

This counts as pool?

Pro Cue is the modernized cuesports game played by the PCL. The game is played with nine billiard balls of three different colours purple (4), orange (4) and black (1).

A player will continue their turn until they fail to leagally pocket a ball or commit a foul. To keep gameplay manageable and timing predictable, each game is timed at 15 minutes with a shot clock in place to limit stalling.

The objective of the game is to reach 30 points by pocketing balls in a specific order: purple, orange, black. Each legally pocketed purple ball is worth one point, orange two points and black is three points.

I think I'll watch the belt sander races.

This is an English comedy show, nothing more.

Jiskefet is a program, which shows sketches who are absurd, funny and intelligent. Every season there are different people in a different settings.

Very similar to my take on the Matchroom events... apparently, all these new events are after is new viewers, to hell with all the old viewers... at least that's how it feels to me

I highly doubt that. Plenty of dummies willing to give away cash.

I've seen SVB doing races to 3 in 9B and your paying him $50. Not even gambling, Your just playing him and guys were lining up.
The term "cuck" comes to mind for some reason.

Show some dignity for god sake!
