Hi All,
I just got a call from one of my customers and she was wondering where to look for statistics about pool and poolplayers. I recommended bca.com and billiards and bowling institute. Anyone know figures or where to find this ifo--it is for a speech for a college class and of course she needs it asap!
Thanks a bunch!

The APA may have some statistics concerning their operation and pool in general. It would be worth a try.

The NSGA does an annual survey of sports and recreation. The results are often reported in Pool & Billiard Magazine and possibly others. The main result is that there are between 30 and 40 million people who play pool at least a few times each year. I think P&B also publishes the results of their own survey from time to time.

Bob, you wouldn't happen to know what months these stats might be in, would you. or even the time of year. I have some magazines on the job but, if you knew off hand it would make it easier. also what does nsga stand for?
Thanks for the help.

Being an APA player, and team captain, trust me that they are the last place to look.

Call Pool & Billiard Magazine. They can give you the stats, and/or the month of the mag they're in. NSGA is the National Sporting Goods Association.
