OK so what was the best part... all I can say is the best part is yet to come... But for this weekend it's always great to see everyone, and thanks to all those who stopped by to say hi and look at some very nice cues. We did what we set out to do which was to display some monsters from Marks collection, some for sale some not. Sold some cues some books etc.. As in every year there is some knowledge gained.

Sorry to say for all you that found my spats and digs at Bill Grassley entertaining, the show is over. Bill, Mark and myself sat on the second floor lobby and hammered out our differences, for the good of cues, dealing and the santiy of all of us, it's done. But it has forged an unlikely, or better yet, long overdue alliance. You'll see more as we move forward. But it was a 2-3 hour conversation that was long overdue.

We are looking forward to working with a new cuemaker to our stable, Mr. Steve Klein, as well as our veteran guys like Jim White, Paul Fanelli, Paul Rubino etc..

joe, it was nice seeing you and mark this weekend. that gus is fantastic, one of my favorites. but there are always nice cues at your booth. i'm glad to hear you and bill patched things up but promise me you won't start quoting psalms, that wouldn't be you. keep up the good work.

Like his Gus Ebony on Ebony.. A cue I would loved to have seen (and hold..:eek:)

The cues in your booth were something to look at and enjoy.
Had a brief conversation with Mark finally since he visited over in the booth I was supporting.

So glad to hear that a New Age is upon us and a Bond has been set.
Hopefully it will benefit the billiard industry in a time when everyone needs better news than what is coming from Wall Street or the White House at this time.

Will be looking forward to seeing you again very soon.

I'm so glad the feud is over with Bill.

You guy's all have the very best stuff in the world to bring to us lowly low life's that frequent this site.

I can only imagine what a consorted effort by all of you will bring !

Thanks.. I have decided I have only room for one grudge, maybe 2 and those spots are filled :) There was actually an early catalyst that had e-mailed both Bill and I and suggested that we get over our issues because outside the entertainment value, there was nothing being gained by either party. That catalyst was none other than Barry Szamboti. He talked to me and to Bill but at that time it was right after one of our intense volley's.

Bill came to me as we were unpacking the truck and suggested that we talk start to put some of this behind us. Mark and I then continually talked about it and it wasn't really that hard a choice. That is when we had our midnight meeting. We can actually help one another and that will in turn help guys that collect cues. We have some plans and that is all I'll divulge at this point. I can honestly say, although funny when I did it, I regretted taking some very low shots at Bill. Now I like to be funny, but what I bought forth was low brow and beneath me.

You making peace with each other shows your intelligence and how open-minded you are - not only you two, but it reveals Barry's qualities as well to those who have not had the chance to get to know him - like myself.

That Gus is my favourite one [other than the ebony on ebony with the scrimmed windows], in case that butt sleeve belongs to a rosewood forearm with barbells of alternating lengths and 4 MOP diamonds... I know I have been staring at that cue for months (years, perhaps:embarrassed2:) leaning over the Blue Book's tiny image of it and then over the picture I found on the site of Hugh Tiernan.

Could you please share a few photos of the forearm?
