I've got a co-worker here at the naval base in southwestern Indiana that is interested in finding a nice used table. his budget is $1000, or perhaps a little more.

anybody know of anything that could help him out?

I have a 7 ft table that I'm helping a friend sell. It's in the Houston TX area and don't know how much it could cost to move it to Indiana. The table is $600 including new felt. If they can find a mover to get it from here to there we'd love to get it off our hands. I can send pics if interested.
 
Diamond 9'

I have a Diamond 4.5 x 9 Pro (3 pc slate) with light for $3000. Won't find much nicer than this one. I also know a local mover that can deliver.
 
pool table

i have a Brunswick Meadalist Pro 8 for 600 in St Paul Mn. 860 cloth ......just a great playing table
 
Table

Check Louisville craigslist. Several that may work with delivery from a good area mechanic in the 300 dollar range and a table for 700 or so, you should be in the ballpark. But for 1000, don't expect a Cadillac. Also a good mechanic will steer you away from problems. I can recommend someone around here if you want.
 
Local pool table mover

Please look up Rack66 Buillards in the Yellow pages and ask to speak to Bryan Roberts. He is about the best in the Louisville area.
 
I believe there was a GC1 recently posted for sale in Northern Illinois for about 1400. I'm sure you can find it with the search function.

Bryan Roberts, Rack 66, 5004 Preston Hwy, Phone 502-969-2222. Bryan is a really great guy and will do you right. Easy access to I-65 North and South.
