I am looking at changing the tip on my cue i play with a moori med and i am looking for something softer what do you guys think ..... thanks

I used kamui med. for about a year. My cue man who is a legend asked me to try kamui soft (brown). That will be my last tip change for me. I probably have about 50% stroke of half the players here. My control of the white ball is greatly improved. Giving me a lot more confidents in the game I love. I hope this will give you another option to think about.

I suggest using the search function. It will produce more info than you can shake a stick at.

I switched from a Moori medium to a Moori soft about two years ago. Tried quite a few others, including Kamui, but the Moori is what suits me best. Great cue ball control with no mushrooming. Good luck with your quest.

Anyone else see a pattern here? The pattern is that no two posters have recommended the same tip. It's a very, very subjective thing, and what works for one may not always work for someone else.

Tips are relatively inexpensive, so do yourself a favor and try a few out. See what works best for you, and make your own informed decision. :)

FWIW: I have historically played with a Moori Medium. Love em. They last forever. Then I came into posession of a cue with the Everest Red Line tip made by Tiger. I LOVE IT! This tip spins the H(&^$ out of the cue ball. Too early to tell how long it will last.

I've used.. Talisman med, Moori med and soft, the kamui med, everest med.... BUT I have to say.. out of all of them. I'm really liking these "Milk Dud" tips I purchased from PoolDawg8. I even gave my 3rd and last one to a buddy on the team. He was using my predator with a tip on it and he really liked it.

Just so you guys know. I'm getting nothing from pooldawg8 to post this.
