To all of the people complaining about others not wearing masks or social distancing, I shouldn't hear any of you say you are not going to get the vaccine. Now that we have an effective and safe way to end this pandemic and get the country going again it would be very irresponsible and selfish to not get vaccinated .

My daughter received the first of two Pfizer vaccines last Thursday. She is in the health care field. She said it hurt a lot at the injection site, more than a flu shot hurts, and she did have some symptoms of runny nose, body aches, and fatigue. She received the vaccine at the hospital she works at and came home immediately and went to bed. Next day, however, she was almost 100 percent fine.
Covid seems to have improved at least one thing...grocery pick up. I just order online and they bring it out to me during the scheduled delivery window. Pretty sweet...I don't even have to get out of the car. Think I'll just keep doing this indefinitely.We have neighbors who have not been anywhere since last March. They have all their groceries delivered. They are in their 70s. The man has had respiratory and heart problems. They are playing it very safe. I go to the grocery store during senior citizen hour and wear my mask and use hand sanitizer and wash my hands upon returning home. So far, so good for me.
You know, life as we know it will never be the same. Many Federal Government entities and private sector and academia are realizing how economically feasible it is to work from home. All these great big office buildings with office space are going to suffer in the future. I think this pandemic has opened the door for a lot of telework opportunities. Yes, there will still be a need for some to go in the office, but for health care in rural areas and non-essential workers, working out of the house works fine.
This is true. I've read that folks are already fleeing large metro areas like SF Bay area, LA, etc moving an hour or more away and getting much more bang for their housing buck. Telecommuting is here to stay, at least I think that it is.
