Pool videos online for free???

Sol - slots are for uploading only. So if you have two slots open, that means you will allow 2 different users to download from you at a time in addition to minislots. Slots have nothing to do with you downloading.

Be sure to have your firewall allow DC++ to access the internet and act as a server.

I suggest registering since most hubs (not interpool) will disable searching if you are not registered.

I also recommend being in active mode instead of passive. You may need to configure your router (if you are using one) to do this. Its not that hard to do as long as you have the password, or never setup a password for your router.

So can you find the burt kinister tapes that im missing on here?

On edit: Sorry i just got the site going, and i found some things i wanna download but it always says no slots available. Do i have to wait for someone to quit downloading for mine to start?

nope, check my posts before... many questions i have already posted.
1/ guy/guy's who have it, already have other people downloading the file from them, and no slots left for u.
2/ u can pm the guy and ask for a extra slot for u. might work, maybe not. depends on how the guys is.

I have a problem.... I had no troubles installing the program and getting into the hub, but not i cant see any files. Whenever i try to see anyones files, it just fails to connect. When i use the search function, nothing ever comes up, not even anything for "billiard". I was just wondering if i was doing anything wrong...

AVI Files

Some of the matches are .avi files. What program can be used to view these, my Windows Media Player and Real Player won't touch it.

Thanks for any input.

the program i use to view almost ALL the video's i have is BSplayer.
U might want to go to www.downloads.com and do a search for it there, and also a search for codecs. I dont know the url by head for a full package codec (xvid, dvix, mpg123, Ac, for full video and sound), but u should be able to find it on the site i just gave u. Weird though, media player should be able to play them too normally. I just love the BS player because of what u can do with the program, it just plays almost ANY file u can imagine.

glad u made it to the hub 96supersport

Had the same problem... you probably can hear the video but can't see it. I downloaded dvix and the correct codecs were automatically brought into Media Player.

Now, if anyone can explain to me how to view a iso or torrent file I'd be cooking with gas.

torrent is a file, that u need the progame bittorent to download it. it is not the actual file, more something like the adress.. of the person who has it.

iso is a file used to burn something on a dvd or cd. u can do a quick search on www.downloads.com on iso, and ull find many iso burning programs. U can even burn it with nero or your usual program u use to burn cd's. If u just want to open the iso and extract the files, u can use a program called isobuster or winiso wich u can find on the same site probably. (best to extrat it as a raw mpg file...) or u can just burn it on a cd or dvd, wich is the purpose of a iso file

".avi" -file format doesn't tell anything about the codec used for sound and video. It could be anything, DivX, Xvid, etc. Avi-file merely tells that the audio & video is packed. Finding all those important codecs and installing them is a pain in the butt, so I suggest you download and install FFD Show from the following website (download the newer one, 2004 version).

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=53761

FFD Show contains most of commonly used codecs for video & audio.

Download the official free divx codec, it will be enough for most videos. Use another player, like BSPlayer, VLC (has all the needed codec already)or Light Alloy (says what codec you need), they are much more comfortable.
Torrent file is a hash of the file you want to download. It contains tracker address (tracker coordinates downloaders swarm) and possibly comments of torrent maker to this file.

There are plenty of vids there with video encoded with Xvid so if you use only divx, prepare to install also xvid codecs. That's why I suggested FFDShow, it has both and many other codecs in the same installation file.

What is the problem with interpool.dnsalias? It doesn't work
Is there another hub with pool stuff?
