Pool without Game, just difficult penalty shots

Has there been a tournament with pros just shooting out hard difficult shots, instead of playing the usual 9, 10, 8 ball, one pocket rotation, straight pool?

Say 10 or 20 types of predetermined set up shots, who ever makes the most wins? This would be nice to find the stroke master? Just a thought..

Something like the NFL's QB challenge might be interesting. Not just shotmaking but position targets, jumps, kicks, banks, etc.

It would be nice to have at the mosconi cup, or DCC for fun. set up a table with some of the shot and let the short stops/ amatures try.

T.O.P is ok all pros will run them after all, but what i am thinking is to rule luck out 100%, and let players show their aim/cut/stroke skill, shots can be as hard as 80 degree cut, to very long straight shot with draw back and follow, also, who draws the ball max distance, maybe add some known single ball simple trick shots that every pro knows or tried. Probably put a point for each Successful completion, who ever scores the most wins "Master of Stroke"

No artistic trick shots.
