Quite a few years ago, I will guess 18, I ordered a practice drill kit called Poolino. It consisted of drill diagrams and 18 flat rubber magnets and 18 plastic pins. You set these magnets and pins up in patterns and then place balls around them and the idea is to pocket the balls with out knocking over the pins. The pins are tipped over with even the lightest hit of the cb or object ball because the magnets are very weak. I have found a web site for these kits so I know they are still out there. I was wondering if anyone here has ever heard of Poolino or tried it. At first I thought of these drills as kind of a joke but they bring my game up more then most other drills I have used. These drills are very good for cue ball control and teach you the importance of good shape quickly. They also help with figuring out speed control especially with fast cloth.
